rex resorts has teamed up with FA Premier League footballer, Jason Roberts, to offer football training for children aged 5 – 16 staying at Grenadian by rex resorts in Grenada during the school holidays. Jason Roberts is the only Grenadian footballer to have played in the English FA Premier League and is currently a striker with Blackburn Rovers. He set up the Jason Roberts foundation to provide a range of sporting opportunities for children and young people in the UK and Grenada by providing access to high quality sporting experiences. Konnie Huq, British TV Presenter best known for presenting Blue Peter, was spotted sipping cocktails and enjoying the sun on her holiday spent at Royal by rex resorts in St Lucia. Our General Manager Mark Grebby said she was an absolute pleasure to have as a guest at Royal and took Konnie and her partner out on a sunset cruise, on the same boat used in the Pirates of the Caribbean film! Konnie also spent her time exploring the treasures of the island by zip-lining through the Rainforest and sailing to the south of the island to visit the Pitons. We hope to see you again Konnie!
